Bethan who is now 9 years old has undergone major surgery where the doctors have managed to replumb her heart. Despite 6 heart attacks and only having half a heart Bethan is a picture of health, thanks to the doctors, nurses and her family who have cared and supported her over the last 9 years. Bethan has been at Bengeworth First School for 6 years and is in her final year. We as a school have decided to focus our fundraising on Birmingham Children’s Hospital whose wonderful staff have cared for Bethan since she was born. Bethan and her parents have raised over £6000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital and we would like to match that by £1000 for every year Bethan has been with us. We would like to support this charity that has given so much to enrich Bethan’s lifestyle at home and school.  We hope that you will donate generously to this worthwhile cause, which has helped Bethan and many other children with life threatening conditions to live full and enriched lives.
