Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Stupidly I have decided to run the Hastings Half Marathon on the 16th March - not only is it 13 miles - more miles than I ever thought I would run in my life, it is also a wee bit hilly to say the least. As this is quite a big thing for me to do, I thought I may as well try and raise some money for a good cause in the process. St Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne is a charity that provides skilled and compassionate care for people with terminal illnesses in beautiful surroundings. It is very personal to me as recently St Wilfrid's cared for my one of my good friend Claire's late father who was suffering from Mesothelioma. They were compassionate and caring and made Alan as comfortable as possible in his last few days with us. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) Ltd will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now - and wish me luck as I need it!! Many thanks for your support. Benita. xxx
