Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and for sponsoring me on the 3 Peaks Challenge on 6th June which I hope to complete with seven friends I play tennis with.
The 3 Peaks Challenge involves walking to the top of Snowdon. Scafell and Ben Nevis, the highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland, in 24 hours. A walk in the park you may think, I did, until I was told that it is like walking a marathon plus climbing 10,000 feet with a total of about 12 hours hiking.
After numerous early morning training sessions I am certainly fitter than I have been for many years but also about as ready as I ever will be to face this challenge.

P.S. I may have just had my 50th Birthday but rumours of a mid life crisis are much exaggerated - I think !
