One of the projects that Samaritan’s Purse works into is providing disaster relief; specialising in meeting critical needs for victims of conflict, disaster, famine, and epidemics throughout the world, often working through ministry partners on the ground. They provide food, water, shelter, medicine, and other assistance in many nations. For example, they have been doing amazing work into the crisis in Ukraine this year:

• Samaritan’s Purse has served more than 4 million people throughout the first six months of this response. We have distributed over 21,000 metric tonnes of food within Ukraine in partnership with the local church. Our water systems and newly constructed freshwater wells have provided more than 8.5 million litres of water to Ukrainians.
• Twenty-six airlift missions have brought relief for those struggling inside Ukraine.
• Samaritan’s Purse is committed to help Ukraine over the long haul and is currently transitioning our relief efforts from a temporary Disaster Assistance Response Team to a more permanent country office.
• More than 7 million refugees from Ukraine have spread across Europe, the United States, Canada, and other countries worldwide. Many millions are also internally displaced due to the conflict.

The money I raise will go towards funding their ongoing Disaster Relief efforts.
