Great Yarmouth 10k · 11 July 2007

It's our mission to ensure all pet rabbits in the UK are cared for with understanding, insight and kindness. It's our vision to be the recognised experts in making a positive difference to the wellbeing of all pet rabbits in the UK.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me.

It is a relatively normal fundraising event (a 10k run in Great Yarmouth), but I do not have much time to raise the cash! Any money raised will be split between the Rabbit Welfare Association and Sprowston Guinea Pig Rescue. Both organisations do outstanding work for the oft forgotten pets.

For further details see:

 http://www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk/rwf/index.htm &

 http://www.sprowstonguineapigrescue.co.uk/index.html?_ret_=return

If you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. The two causes mean an awful lot to my wife Anne and me. Oft forgotten about and neglected, rabbits and guinea pigs are wonderful creatures, with personalities to match. The money raised will help the RWA continue their push to educate people about rabbit welfare and allow Cheryl at the Sprowston Guinea Pig Rescue to continue her incredible work.

So please sponsor me now! The money donated on this site will go straight to the RWF and the matched funding I will receive on top of this will be sent to the Sprowston Guinea Pig Rescue. Although I would love to run the 10k in a bunny costume, I do not have the time to plan this (and I am not sure the running club would appreciate a giant bunny-man gate crashing their run!). However, I promise if I make the £250, for my next fundraising push I will dress up (think Chandler in Friends for those of you who remember)!

The run is dedicated to Earnest's brother, Eric, who sadly passed away last Winter.

Many thanks for your support.
