Story

This summer I am planning to ride my bicycle from London to Istanbul. After some rather dubious route forecasting I have come up with a rough itinerary for the trip. I’ll cross the channel via the good old Dover to Dunkirk ferry, and then spin my wheels along the North sea coast to Rotterdam, before following the River Rhine into Germany. On reaching the Black Forest (I’m assuming I can find some great cake here) I then aim to pick up a little river called the Danube that flows all the way to the Black Sea. On reaching the coast a simple right turn should point me in the direction of Turkey and Istanbul. It sounds relatively straight forward  but it’s actually quite a long way and I’ll need your donations to keep me pedalling the full 2000 miles. Any amount will make a difference and will be greatly appreciated*

Thank you for supporting my trip and the charity Scope. It means a lot. My little cousin Charlotte suffered from Cerebral palsy, yet in her short lifetime she brought so much sunshine and smiles to so many people. Your contributions will help many others like her.

See you on the road, or in the pub when I get back.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
