The Duchenne Dash · 6 June 2014 to 7 June 2014 ·

As the leading Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) charity in the UK, we want to find effective treatments for DMD and end its devastating impact. We’re going further than anyone has before, and we’re doing it faster, because this generation of people living with DMD can’t wait.

Story

About 5 years ago I rang up my friend Emily Reuben to have a chat. She said something terrible had happened and couldn't speak. I quickly found out her son Eli has been diagnosed with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. Find out what you need to know about this cruellest of diseases here http://www.dc-trust.org/watch-our-film/

Emily and her husband Nick fought back. They are trying to raise money to save Eli's life. Last year I cycled to Paris to help. This year an even bigger group of us are doing the same, including my four oldest friends from school.

Your donation wil help me pedal at 3 am in Northern France - and help cure this ghastly disease. Thank you.
