Hello there! It's been ages! How are you?

So, I completed the Edinburgh Marathon on May 25th - I finished 98th (out of 14,000) in 2hours 56min.

I thought with this being the second one I was doing I should approach it as a different level of challenge and after the horn sounded for the start I got my head down and went for a sub 3 hour finishing time. I saw on the BBC's coverage of London this year that a 'sub 3' qualifies as an elite time and only 1.8% of all marathoners ever achieve it so I knew it would be tough, but I'm very happy I made it and gave it my all in memory of my Mum.

Thanks very much to everyone who sponsored me, without all your generous sponsorship the training and the day itself wouldn't mean as much to me but most importantly it wouldn't mean as much to vital breast cancer research.

Cheerie tut-ho!
