My story
After going through the hell of the Marathon and promising myself I would never do it again, I broke (half) that promise as the lure of the Run to the Beat Half Marathon was too much for me.
And ONE charity jumped out as the obvious choice to raise funds for:
"The Nordoff Robbins approach to music therapy developed from the pioneering work of Paul Nordoff and Clive Robbins in the 1950s/60s. It is grounded in the belief that everyone can respond to music, no matter how ill or disabled. The unique qualities of music as therapy can enhance communication, support change, and enable people to live more resourcefully and creatively."
Everybody who knows me, knows my passion for music so a charity that helps improve the lives of people through this medium is beyond obvious in my choice. I know a lot of you guys share my passion so please contribute what you can for a superb cause.
