So I decided nearly 2 years ago to get involved in this thing called the Clipper Race, a sailing race around the world (sounds fun right?)

The sheer scale of sailing a 70ft boat around the world with 19 other crew who you don't really know, in a confined space in the most treacherous of conditions certainly seemed like a challenge, one that I would be worth taking on. 

Unicef is the registered charity partner of the race and the work they do surrounding vaccines, education, healthcare for children around the world is truly admirable - it's certainly a charity I am proud to support.
