Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Sasha and I successfully completed the Flora London Marathon on Sunday, 26 April 2009. It was a hell of a long way: 26 miles 385 yards, which is 42.195km.

We are raising much for a wonderful charity - one which helps the most endangered species around the world, and the communities surrounding those species. Details below.

Don't forget the more you give, the more the Government adds on in terms of Gift Aid, and the closer we get to our £1500 target. If you'd rather pay by cash or cheque - we'll let you know how. Our charity is Care for the Wild International (www.careforthewild.org), an animal welfare and conservation charity that funds practical projects around the world. Particularly helping species such as:

  • Chimpanzee
  • Orangutan
  • Dolphin
  • Tiger
  • Snow Leopard
  • Elephant
  • Rhino
  • Brown Bear
  • Polar Bear
  • Arctic Fox
They make areas safe from poachers, rehabilitate sick or injured animals and provide sanctuary for those who can not return to the wild. They also act as a global voice for wildlife through research, education and advocacy and expose animal cruelty and wildlife crime. Check out their site to see examples of the work they do.
