We support treatment, research and care to make our hospitals even better

Story

Sadly, last year one of our trainees, Will Boffey, passed away and was cared for by the Manchester Royal Infirmary Leukaemia Research Fund. To support this fund a team of trainees has set a fundraising target of £3,000.

Our fundraising activity involves a team of ten new trainees running from the Bentley factory in Crewe to the historic Brooklands racetrack in Surrey. The route will cover around 200 miles in a relay format. It will take place over a 24-hour period over three consecutive days from the 10th to 12th June 2008. The team has a planned budget of zero for this event, and so we are looking for public and corporate assistance with as many aspects of the project as possible to minimise costs.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.

The Manchester Royal Infirmary Leukaemia Research Fund will receive your money via the Central Manchester & Manchester Children's University Hospitals Charity.

If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please sponsor us now. Many thanks for your support.
