The Woodland Trust has announced its intension to purchase land in Sandridge (near St Albans, Herts). If they succeed in raising the funds, they will plant 850 acres of Native woodland.

The Hertfordshire Way is 166 mile circular route around Hertfordshire. It is made up of 14 legs. I intend to walk all this during September, but I hope to have people (you ?) walking with me on each leg (10 - 15 miles), all raising money for this cause.
