Football to Amsterdam 2019 - London route · 7 June 2019 to 9 June 2019 ·

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

As some of you know I signed up for this last year and due to Paul's wedding (my father in law) pulled out because I wouldn't miss his day for the world. This year I'm raring to go and nothing is going to stop Lou and I joining Dad for his third cycle! You may also know that I am immensely grateful to be able to cycle with Dad as he kicked his own prostate cancer out the park! And that is why I'm taking part in Football to Amsterdam, a two day, 145-mile bike ride to the Dutch capital. We’ll be putting football rivalries aside to tackle prostate cancer once and for all. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around. Their aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear. COYS!!
