Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976, with the sole aim of ridding the world of poverty housing. Using donated money, materials and labour we work in partnership with people in need of shelter to build safe, decent homes in over 90 countries around the world. Today we have built over 260,000 homes, helping over one and a half million people in more than 3,000 communities.

Our personal message:

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page and hopefully donating! The money is being raised in memory of Beth Secker who died in a car crash on November 5th 2006. Beth worked on the Habitat project in Kyrgyzstan as part of a World Challenge expedition in 2002.  Please also check out www.justgiving.com/beth_brake.

We are currently planning a Music Marathon. It is our fundraising plan to do 26 gigs in about 3 weeks during April around the Congresbury area. There will also be a sponsored walk. Check out www.myspace.com/musicbristolupdates for more details.
