British Heart Foundation

The British Heart Foundation funds reseach into the causes and treatment of cardiac disease. I sadly never had the opportunity to meet my grandfather after he died of a heart attack before I was born. Then a couple of year ago, my father suffered a heart attack. He was a fit and healthy person, in training for a marathon at the time so it came as a huge shock. More reseach is definately needed into hereditary heart conditions and that's where BHF comes in.
