Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On Sunday 22 June 2008 I'll be running the Jane Tomlinson 10k Run for All in Leeds in loving memory of my Dad, Robert Walker, who died in October last year at the age of 60 suddenly and without warning from a heart attack.
My Dad was a marathon runner in his day (although I know he would have found the idea of me running 10k hilarious!) and a supporter of the British Heart Foundation so I thought this would be a fitting way to honour his memory.
I would be really grateful for any sponsorship for this worthy cause - what happened to my Dad has proved that heart attacks can happen to anyone however fit and healthy you are.
Any amount, no matter how big or small, will be much appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation of your support,
Beth Walker
12/06/2008 - halfway there already!!
16/06/2008 - thanks so much to everyone for helping me to reach my target in less than a week - I'm really touched by your generosity and looking forward to doing my dad proud at the weekend! x
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
