As many of you know, last summer I went back to Belarus for 2 weeks (i hadn't had enough first time around!) Every summer, Chernobyl Children's UK sends British volunteers to work on a summer camp at a traditional Belarusian sanatorium.

Around 150 Belarusian orphans with varying physical and mental disabilities
come to camp each summer for 3 weeks of 'clean' air and good food. These are children who were born throughout the many regions of Belarus which were contaminated by the Chernobyl disaster.

It was a great experience and has inspired me so far to write a dissertation on Chernobyl and i very much would like to return this summer! For this i need your help with sponsorship for a very difficult day during which i will be speaking in Russian only! Please feel free to suggest any fun tasks you would like me to fulfill, if you donate over £10 i will DEFINITELY do it! I will have a 'buddy' with me to translate should anyone speak to me who doesn't understand russian. And a dictionary, at all times.
