Hi family, friends and colleagues,
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!
The mission of One25 is to enable women marginalised from mainstream society - primarily through involvement in street-based sex work - to access appropriate services and to become aware of alternative possibilities for their lives. The support that One25 provides include:
* Outreach - on foot & by van to provide nutritious food, hot drinks and a chance to talk and get advice in a safe space.
* Drop-in centre - women can speak to a caseworker without appointment and gain expert advice and help from visiting statutory and voluntary workers including health visitors, drug workers, basic skills tutors, etc.
* Casework - help the women establish themselves in the basic aspects of life such as accommodation, health, benefits, family support, education and so on.
* Naomi House - a residential family unit providing intensive, therapeutic and practical 24 hour support to pregnant women and mothers with their babies where maternal substance misuse and risk from sex-work has been a problem.
To help raise funds for this very worthy cause, we'll be doing a 10 mile sponsored walk around Bristol, at night, in fancy dress! We'd love it if you were able to sponsor us - anything you can spare would be awesome, it all adds up!
