I lost a very close friend of mine to cancer, just 3 short weeks after her diagnosis.

I have taken part in Race For Life a few times over the years, in memory of my lovely dad.  So I'd suggested to some friends about doing Race For Life and another friend set up the Just Giving page and to be honest, I don't think any of us were completely prepared for just how bananas its gone!  There's now a massive 29 of us joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. I'm so proud to be part of this for 'our Gill' and everyone who has been touched by cancer and those still fighting.
