I am Rikin and I suffer from Muscular Dystrophy - a muscle wasting condition. I am wheelchair bound and I have never walked.

My dad is doing a gruelling 6 day trek in the jungles of Costa Rica starting on the 11th January 2009 to raise much needed funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Personally I think he is crazy but I am not the one to complain!!

It is only through raising much needed funds that the campaign is able to fund research projects to hopefully find a cure for my condition. My lifelong dream is simply to be able to walk one day. Your generous donations will be a step towards making this dream a reality in my lifetime.
