You may or may not know me. My Name is Bhavika Pindoria and I am a student at Westminster University, currently doing a placement and I am turning 21 in June! I am just a normal girl with an ambition to personally raise money for charity. This project is extremely important for me, due to the story that I will explain below.

 

In August I began working in a hospital that specialises in Maternity. One day I was walking from one part of the building to another and I saw a new born baby coming out from one of the wards and overheard the doctors saying that the baby needs to be taken into intensive care. I saw the doctor break the news to the parents of the new born baby, and their facial expressions were indescribable, they were heart broken; having no idea what they were actually going through as I’ve never been in that position, but I know many people that have. I know a lot people who have had children who are born with or have had serious health issues while growing up and this is why I am deciding to make a difference.

 

I am a lucky girl, however not everyone is. Instead of throwing a grand 21st birthday party, I am deciding to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, with an aim of £1500. I want to make my 21st that little more special by knowing that I and those generous people that will donate have selflessly helped other people. I have so much to be grateful for and I want children who are ill to feel as special as I feel. I know Great Ormond Street Hospital has a great team of staff and surgeons therefore I feel it’s my chance to help and make a difference. With the help of you, my family and friends we can raise so much money together. I would be grateful if you could donate some amount to help the children. All donations are welcome.

 

Please note: all the Money donated goes directly to GOSH and the Toys collected will be delivered to Great Ormand Street Hospital sometime in June. Thank you.
