On Saturday 9th May I will doing a 20km walk for the Charity CORE.  CORE funds research into diseases of the gut, liver & pancreas and they also aim at finding a cure for Crohn's disease, IBS & Colitis.  Unfortunately I know many people who suffer from one or both of these diseases....hence me getting off my backside & doing the walk.

I haven't actually asked for money off anyone over the years.....that is a fact, because the last sponsored walk I did was 25 years ago at School & I have not done anything for Charity since (apart from voluntary work every week)!  Also, I have been quick to respond to requests off you all over the years (note 'pleading tone' & recognition of the fact I have NEVER walked this far before....apart from shopping, which is a different kind of 'walk' altogether!!).
 
So it's my turn to 'beg' & if you can help, that would be wonderful & most appreciated.  Any questions give me a shout......you will find me in Boots stocking up on plasters & lucozade!!
