My story
I'm sure that most of you have been effected by Cancer at some point, it may have been a friend or family member that has it or has died from it? If you haven't then you are very lucky.............
Personnel Storys
My best mate, Dave, who is doing this with me, was unlucky enough to get Cancer in his bladder. But after a long time in hospital and with the right care, he is back to having a relatively normal life. If you met him you wouldn't know that he has had his bladder removed and now has an imitation one! You wouldn't know that he has no feeling of needing to go to the toilet! But despite all this he is still the great guy he always has been and Thanks God every day, to still be alive.........
The above story is a great example of beating Cancer but wouldn't it be great to find a cure, so everyone could beat it................
My great grand father - stomach cancer - died
My Grand mother - Breast cancer - died
My Mother - Breast cancer survived
1.There are more than 100 types of cancers; any part of the body can be affected.
2.In 2008, 7.6 million people died of cancer - 13% of all deaths worldwide.
3.More than 30% of cancers could be cured if detected early and treated adequately.
4.Over the course of a lifetime, one in three women and one in two men will develop cancer.
5.Approximately 5 percent of cancers are hereditary.
Please please dig deep, you could help save a life!!!!
