Story
In the middle of October of this year, 2012, I will be setting off on an epic cycling odyssey of 15,000 miles. It will take me across some of the world's most unforgiving terrain. I will be crossing deserts and traversing mountain passes. I will face all weather conditions; pounding rain, scorching sun and life and soul sapping headwinds, maybe even some hail and snow. It will all be worth it, though, because the sights, smells, beauty of the landscape and overall sense of achievement will far outweigh any pain that my body will try and tell me I'm experiencing.
It is a journey of a life time and I have chosen to raise money for Demelza hospice care in the process. They do some amazing work and they deserve your support. So go on, 15,000 miles has got to be worth a tenner hasn't it?
