Frank Martin is a South West based potter and has had a long-standing interest in walking the 630 miles of the South West Coast Path. Over the summer of 2010 he will tackle this long-distance walk and is seeking sponsorship to assist BIG HAND LITTLE HAND - a programme run by the Devon Guild to deliver its crafts education programme. As an educational charity Big Hand, Little Hand is dedicated to increasing the understanding, enjoyment and appreciation of contemporary craft in the area. Our  places professional craft-makers in schools and colleges to get the kids involved in fun and productive workshop.

Through the crafts residencies, BH,LH aims to foster sensory and motor skills, build confidence and materials knowledge, and encourage the development of imagination and ideas in children of all backgrounds, including those with special needs. Your donation will go towards our educational work, enabling more participants to experience the life-changing power of creating through making.
