On Sunday 26th April 2009 I will be running the Flora London Marathon to help raise money for the Royal British Legion.

The 26th April is also my birthday just to add a little more excitment to the day! I will be running 26 miles on my 26th Birthday on the 26th of April!

My Dad worked for the British Legion for many years and i often assisted him with his fundraising work.

The Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces and their dependents. Currently, nearly 10.5 million people in the UK are eligible for the Legion's help, and thousands of requests for support are made every year.

I am sure you agree that this is a cause worthy of our support, and with British service men and women currently deployed around the world, as relevant now as it has ever been. Any contributions that you are able to make in order to help me reach my fundraising target of £1300 will be much appreciated.
