Congratulations on finding my page. That's the hard part over ... donating's easy .... read on!
To raise money for this wonderful charity, I will be attempting to row 100,000 metres on Wednesday 28 November - I'm hoping to do this in around eight hours. I don't fancy getting cold and wet so my employers, Dairy Crest, have kindly agreed to let me do this in the company's gym. This means I won't have a cox barking instructions at me and hopefully colleagues won't feel the need to fill the void. If they do, they will have to double their sponsorship (just kidding!).
Make-A-Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. At any given time, over 20,000 children in the UK are living with life-threatening conditions. Each wish provides memories that last a lifetime for the family.
STOP PRESS - Have now completed the 100k row, did it just over 8 hours and 35 minutes but it's still not too late to sponsor me.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
