The Laura Crane Trust became Project Youth Cancer on World Cancer Day 2023 and supports teenagers and young adults with cancer, through treatment and beyond. Project Youth Cancer invests in the future of cancer patients through age-targeted research and offers a range of mental wellbeing support.

Story

Hello, this summer I will be cycling 550 mile from Leeds to Berlin in 8 days to raise money for the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.

This charity is the only one of its kind to support young people from 13-24 years old during and after suffering cancer. For this age group cancer frequently strikes in very dangerous and complex forms.

The charity uses the money raised to fund research and also help improve the quality of life of teenage cancer patients during the  harsh regimes of treatment which bring isolation from school, friends and family.
