Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

After the usual rounds of big-talking bravado, this year we decided to up the ante and cycle up something really nasty. So we're cycling 400 kilometers from Basel (in the northern tip of Switzerland on the border with France and Germany), over the Alps and down to Chiasso (in the southern tip bordering Italy). The grand plan is that this will take us 4 days from 6th June but, looking at the St Gotthard Pass (see picture), it may take us most of the summer.

This year we're raising money for The Chestnut Tree House Children's hospice. This amazing charity cares for life-limited children and aims to improve their lives as much as possible.

Sponsoring us on this website is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Barnabas Hospices (Sussex) Ltd gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So thanks very much for your support!
