We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

In 2017, ALDI committed to raising £5 million in 5 years for our charity partner, the Teenage Cancer Trust. In typical ALDI fashion, we surpassed our target with over 18 months to spare, reaching the £5 million mark in July 2020.

ALDI have now committed to raising another £5 million before 2027, bringing our total to £10 million in 10 years.

The Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) is a small but growing charity who do incredible work for those suffering from the cruellest of illnesses.

As a team, we were shocked to learn that the incredible services the TCT provide are currently only available to 50% of patients in the UK - as a result we have decided to raise some money to help assist them with their target of increasing the number of young people they can help through their cancer journey.

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible by seeking sponsorship for remotely 'biking the boundary' of the ALDI Goldthorpe Region. The total mileage of the Regional boundary is 400 miles and on the morning of the 30th of July 2021, the eight members of the GOL Director team will be collectively biking the total mileage of the boundary on stationary exercise bikes at the GOL RDC in a bid to raise as much money as possible for the TCT.

If you are able to contribute at all to this incredibly worthwhile cause we (and more importantly!) those the money will go onto help, would really be very grateful.

Many thanks for your support.
