POST EVENT UPDATE
The event is over we competed a staggering 27 laps, aided by caffeine drinks, carbohydrate powder, tonic water and other miracle concoctions. .A few hiccups during the weekend, couple of punctures, lighting issues, and chain derailments but all these things are part of the challenge and inherently part of MTBing.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
We are entering a team again this year, knowing the off-road course is approximately 10km or about a hour ride time for us, our challenge is 24 laps in 24 hours!
Last year turned into a mud bath and we managed 22, this makes us even more determined to notch up 24 laps.
The logistics of keeping someone on the course at all times, especially during the night, is more difficult than you might think, 5-10 min delays here and there soon add up.
The official CLIC24 event web site can be found here http://www.clic24.org.uk/, and HQ is at the Charterhouse Centre up on the Mendips.
Anyway, enough of that, the important thing here is to raise as much cash for CLIC Sargent as possible, so please be generous, perhaps skip a takeaway this week and donate the savings.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CLIC Sargent will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So, please sponsor us now, don't wait for later or tomorrow, get it out of the way now!
Many thanks for your support, you know where we'll be on the 10th/11th May if you want to pop along for some fresh air and encourage us to meet our 24 lap target.
Perhaps offer to donate extra if we meet our target, or perhaps £5 for every lap over our target.
Thanks again
