I can honestly say I did not think I would ever be doing something like this, 5 months ago I could not run up the stairs let alone enter a challenge like this, however I am now running my first ever race.....I have lost 2 stone and feel the best I have ever felt.

I decided to enter this race to give me a goal, and wanted to raise money for a charity, a friend of mine has a daugher that suffers from EB and wanted to try to raise some money for the charity to help support the sufferers of this condition so any donations really are greatly appreciated.

Debra is a small charity that is striving to support sufferers of a condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) which is a generic condition that causes the skin to blister and come off at the slightest friction or even spontaneously.

As there is currently no cure for this condition, the funding of research into the cause and possible treatment of EB is one of Debra's main goals.
