So... I am quite sure that 99% of you reading this will know the reasons for me dragging my resentful legs and tortured mind around the 26.2miles. Unfortunately that reason is back to drag me round for the third time. For the 1% of you that are unaware, my beautiful little sister Ellis was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer) at the age of 12. At almost 16 years old, Ellis yet again has to have another go at battling this impervious disease. With such understated radiance and dignity she has struggled through numerous 8 hour plus operations on legs and lungs, countless styles of little or no hair, unavoidable amounts of cool yet uncanvassed scars, and more chemotherapy than you would ever wish to see anyone have to endure, most of all your little sister. Still 4 years on, she remains so effortlessly cool and amazes all around her on a daily basis. For those of you who haven't met this wonderful little lady, I can only apologise with the consolation of a photo, and a promise to one day introduce you. Until then, you will have to take my word about the sparkle her presence brings to a room or the uppermost respect she gains from all those that do know her. My little attempt to suffer around 26.2 miles is to incomparable to Ellis' fight for her health on a daily basis, and the least I can do for a charity that has supported my sister and my family through some terribly tough times. I am hoping, the least you will want to do is support me to support them! It goes without saying that I would love for you to give generously, all I can ask is before you spend £100 on a night out, pledge it to TCT and make a difference, what ever it sets you back today, you would have forgotton within a few weeks, if not a few days!
On that note, PLEASE.... AND THANK YOU X The Pink is for you kid!
