WE DID IT!!!!

A MASSIVE well done to all of Bill's Blondes who ran/walked the route - we had a brilliant day!!

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Bill's Blondes, your support and generosity is truly appreciated - thank you so much.

A special mention for dad's beloved staffy Ruby, what a great sprint finish, how mum managed to hold onto the lead, we'll never know!

And a special mention for our mum - it was so lovely to see your smile!

On November 18th 2010, we lost a truly special husband, a wonderful dad and a much loved grandad.

 

He was only in hospital for a short time and we still can't believe how a superbly fit, strong and tough man could be taken from us so suddenly and so cruelly.

 

Colchester PCT have this week, informed us that dad's condition was so rare, there have only been 100 reported cases worldwide.

 

That just about sums up our dad - truly unique!!

 

On Sunday 11th Sept, "Bill's Blondes" will be running and walking in the Women's 5k Challenge in Hyde Park. This was an event that my dad had attended and supported, and it is only fitting that we take part in this event in his memory.

 

So come on people, dig deep and show your support!

 

Help us raise funds for the encephalitis society, their support, advice and information meant a great deal during our darkest hour.

 

Thank you for your support and thank you for thinking of dad, he was such a special man and we miss him so very much.
