My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Zoe , michelle , lisa-ann and kate have walked 12 miles dressed as pink nuns , wore there pyjamas to work for a whole day !! Michelle has swam 30 lengths in 30 mins . Weve done this to raise as much money as possible for cherry lodge cancer care . Janet Ellen Lavin (Zoe's aunt) has been using cherry lodge for the last few years , after beating breat cancer and being cancer free for 5 years Janet recieved the worst news ever the cancer had returned . Janet now has secondary breast cancer in her lungs and tumors in her liver . Being told that the cancer is now terminal ive decided that i would carry on doing what Janet has spent many years doing . Raising money for charity . Every christmas Janet collect toys for great ormond street hospital for sick children . She also does the addidas 5 k challenge every year and last year she did it whilsy having chemotherapy . Janet regulary collects people old furniture and clothes for the charity shop at cherry lodge charity shop . Janet was the manager of choices in kentish town an organisation that works with adults with special needs and disabilitys . Janet never thinks of herself and always trys to make others happy . Im nothing like Janet but on Janets behalf and in Janets name i am raising money for cherry lodge and anything you can spare will make a big diffrence to people with cancer thank you so much to those who intend to donate and those who have already donated we really do appreciate your help xxxxxxx

Cherry Lodge provides and promotes information and support to improve the quality of life for those living with cancer. We have nurse led cancer information, library, self help and complementary therapies. We believe in a holistic approach as cancer has an impact on the whole person - body, mind and spirit.
