Story

Well if you are reading this Page I thank you for your time and you will be aware im a bit of a Running Freak, but 7 events 91.75 miles, 2 x Marathons, 2 x Half Marathon which one is an obstacle course, 1 x 10km race & 2 x X-Country races.

I was stuck to find a charitey which meant something to me or the family which i hadnt already raised funds for, so i looked to my friends. Remembering Kelly gave birth to twins Maxwell and Gracie, Gracie was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, and after seeing alot of pictures and status's of gracies progress i dicided to help the really small support group which Gracie attends UPWARDS WITH DOWNS.

The group was a big emotional support for Kelly, along with providing Gracie with services she may otherwise miss out on such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. The group also has monthly Jo Jingles sessions and is planning swimming lessons which will help all the members immensely as children with Down Syndrome have very low muscle tone and water therapy is very effective.  They also hold monthly sign language courses as our children all have communication problems and, in some cases, severe hearing problems, and signing is a very good tool for communication.

So please please help me help support Gracie and all the other children at UPWARDS WITH DOWNS by sponsoring me to remain the running freak i am.
