The 'Billy The Kid' Dash · 2 July 2008

The RMBF was formed to relieve need, distress or hardship suffered by any person who is serving, has served or is a dependant of a Royal Marine, irrespective of rank. It also provides immediately on the death of either a serving RM or a reservist on duty a sum of money for the next of kin to help them cope with any pressing financial matters.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

The 'Billy the Kid' Dash is to be held on Sunday July 7th at The Bridge Inn, Thurgoland in loving memory of Dave Marsh who was killed in Afghanistan in March 2008. All donations will be passed on to the Royal Marines Benevolent Fund.

This page is to allow anyone who can't make the dash the opportunity to donate to this very worthy cause and also to allow those who are turning up to donate beforehand.

Last year we raised over twelve thousand pounds and this year we plan to better that considerably. Please dig deep and donate as much as you possibly can to raise money for those who have lost loved ones during conflict and for all those who have been adversely affected as a result of fighting for their country. These people have done their country proud and deserve to rest peacefully knowing that their loved ones are being looked after.

Many Thanks
