Hopefully everyone who came to the party last night enjoyed themselves! I loved seeing everybody and it meant so much to me that you were there!

I've made a pretty drastic change to the target, but I was just so encouraged by what people said that I think its possible to go further! Really plant some trees! We raised a very impressive £122 at the party-so keep up the good work everyone!

The tree planting plan is going ahead in a field in Wetherby (North Leeds) in the week commencing 15th March and what we need now is trees! Along with Leeds City Council and Trees for Cities, we'll be planting a mix of oak, birch, hazel and field mapel, all nice and native!

It costs approximately £2 to buy, plant and protect a tree! Which isn't much considering how important trees are! What I am asking you to do is donate the equivalent of how many trees you want to be planted.

I've set a target for 500 trees but hopefully we'll go above and beyond this and make a real contribution to mitigating our impacts on the climate.
