On Friday 8th March 2013, various members of the Bath Love Police will sleep out in Alice Park (on the eastern outskirts of Bath) for the night as a part of the Big Bath Sleep-Out.
Here are the charity's details:
'Spend the night under the stars in Alice Park from 8pm to 8am and raise vital funds for homeless charity Julian House. Join us, either as individual or as a part of a team – you'll be in good company. Giving up just one night could really make a difference.'
Homelessness is a huge thing not only in Bath, but all across the world. The Bath Love Police has committed itself to several actions so far that have been focussed much around sharing Love particularly with homeless people and people who have to work on the streets of Bath. Homelessness, and in general spending much time outdoors without a shelter, is a very central theme for the Bath Love Police. We will do everything to help people that are struggling in this way.
Please help us help the main homelessness charity in Bath, Julian House.
All donations will be very much appreciated not only by the charity, but also by ourselves who will be bracing the chilly night. We are only allowed a sleeping bag and some cardboard to sleep on (as well as warm clothes, of course). We are not allowed tents. This is proper sleeping out in March. And we're doing it all because this is what matters.
Please do give generously.
