Firstly, thank you for visiting our fundraising page for Well Child the official charity for the 2007 London Marathon.
We are 2 Bluefin Consultants who want to raise as much money as we can for a great cause. To justify the generous donations we hoped to receive, we agreed last August to put our bodies on the line to run the Flora London Marathon 2007. We trained hard in all weathers for the big day on April 22nd and were really spurred on by all your kind donations. Sadly a few weeks beforehand Henry suffered ankle ligament damage which prevented him from taking part. He will instead carry his place over to the 2008 marathon.
Hugh completed the race on what turned out to be the hottest marathon day in the 27 year history of the event. His time was 5:24:50 and he finished 28,247 out of 35,669 finishers. Around 36,500 took part with over 5000 requiring medical treatment along the way!
