Story
In addition to BEN, the Official Blue Print Team, "The Blues Print Brothers" are raising money for the Kent Air Ambulance.
The rally consists of 24 teams who are customers of Blue Print (distributors, factors and garages) and are all signed up and raring to go. The 24 teams must each purchase a Japanese or Korean vehicle for less than £500, which they then have to drive from ADL's UK headquarters in Marden/Kent, across Europe to their Portuguese offices just outside of Lisbon.
Commencing on the 17th May 2008 at ADL's UK headquarters in Marden/Kent, the 2000 mile journey will take the 24 teams of two across to France via ferry, then through France, over the Millau Viaduct and down into Spain. The route then continues along the eastern and southern coasts of Spain, into Portugal before finally arriving at the ADL offices just outside of Lisbon (cars permitting!). The event will last 7 days, and it should be noted that it is NOT a race, but a road rally where getting to each stopping point and ultimately the ADL offices in Portugal is all that matters. That should be challenge enough for the cars and team members alike!
It is all for a worthy cause, so please give generously!
