Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please dig deep and donate now.
This year has been a long journey for many in my family, 4 members of my family have passed away this year not all to cancer but each equally painfull to have lost each of them. first my uncle jimmy, second my cousin gemma, third my uncle eddie and fourth my cousin paul. To this day the pain is still there from the loss of my cousin hayley mills, who is an angel who left us a couple of years ago. people grieve in many ways and my family have kept on getting knocked down but we get back up and fight but this november another shock came when my unle ronnie who is a legend to many had been told he has 6 months if that before he leaves us this is at the hands of cancer an i have alot of respect for him for what he has done for me an many others over the years. he is a joker an full of life , can make you smile even now at this sad time when a tear is in your eye, he is the one making you laugh. im finding it hard to write this as i dont grieve very well i let it build im crying as i am writing. this time i want to do what i can to raise as much money to help beat this.
all i ask of you is to donate a little or what you can to not just help one but many who suffer. i have a small target but that will be easy. its just the begining. i will be a dry athlete an aim high in my goals.
I have a team called bmca also raising money an becoming a dry athlete also . mark stubbs, cerys lea, andrea antonelli.
if you wish to join us on this journey then please all welcome.
so if its one thing we all want an can help then do.
thank you for taking the time to read an donating
