Story

Thanks for dropping in. I completed Outlaw Iron distance triathlon on a BMX in 16 hours 33 mins and then completed Equinox 24 hour run in a Morphsuit a few weeks later running for 25hrs and 75.5 miles!

Why make both events more difficult? 112 miles on a road bike is hard enough as is running for 24 hours. Simply, so you will sponsor me and help kids battling brain tumours at Birmingham Children's Hospital. Kids like my niece Poppy who was diagnosed age just 14 mths old and has now just started secondary school. She was given a 50/50 chance of surviving her first of 4 brain operations which took place days after diagnosis! Her last op on St Georges day in 2012 removed 99.9% of her remaining tumour. All her care has been with Dr Peet and his team at BCH.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
