STOP PRESS!First the good news - I did it !!!
Now the bad news - the charity gets to keep the money you have so kindly donated
Thank you so much for all you support.
If you are new to this page, read on (it's not too late to donate!)................
Sponsored swim – been there….
Sponsored walk – done that….
Sponsored ‘Snowboard Down Everest’ – great T-shirt !!!
Well OK not down the real Everest, but the equivalent height (8850m) at the SNO!zone (indoor real snow slope) in Milton Keynes. Just the 295 runs then! Should keep me busy for a couple of days - 22nd/23rd August to be precise.
I simply have 3 aims for my sponsored snowboarding challenge:
1. To make you interested in ‘Mercy Ships’ and the amazing work they do. Check out the video on the left - it says more about the work than I could ever do. And visit them at www.mercyships.org.uk.
2. Raise money for them. There’s always a catch isn’t there! But did you know, ALL the crew on the ship pay their own way? So imagine how much of your money is going directly to the patients that need it!
3. Not break anything!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mercy Ships will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thank you so much for your support.
Neil
