Story

Nearly there!! thanks

After the immense support for the Liverpool Marathon, my first in 8 years, the Great North Run, my first ever, and Chester Marathon at which I set a good for age time qualifying for London 2017, I am running the London Marathon on 24 April 2016 in order to raise £3,500 by running three and a half marathons. My training has gone well and so I stand a reasonable chance of breaking my PB from 2001 of 2 hours 58 minutes and 41 seconds. If so it will only be the second time I have run under 3 hours and if I don't set a PB but break the 3 hour mark I will be delighted.

I am doing this in memory of Theresa's Nan Iris.
