Speyside Trust- The Corrieyairack Challenge · 5 July 2008 ·

Speyside Trust based at Badaguish Cairngorm Outdoor Centre is a small independent charity helping children and adults with special needs, learning or multiple disability enjoy 24-hour respite care and outdoor holidays in the Cairngorms National Park.

Story

Well, I did it! 22nd duathlete (9th Veteran, and I believe first duathlete on a mountain bike).  I finished inside my target time of 4 1/2 hours, despite a headwind throughout the ride.  I even overtook some people on road / racing bikes so was happy with everything.  If I do it again, I'll try to not crash 2 days before the event...

If you haven't sponsored me, but still want to, feel free.  Sponsoring me will help the Speyside Trust,  children and adults with learning difficulties and special needs, and their families.  Sponsor me online and the money will go straight to the Trust and help them get on with the good work they do right now.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Speyside Handicapped Holidays Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
