Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please show your support by sponsoring me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Maggie's Centres will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Dr Bob Grant, a GP from Fife, underwent treatment for cancer in his leg when he was 14 years old.  Subsequently he had an amputation of that leg in 2002 and is now mobile on crutches.

His walk starts at 10 am on Saturday 4th August 2007 at the Maggie's Centre in Dundee and will take him across the Tay Bridge to eventually reach the Forth Road Bridge using the Fife Coastal Path (www.fifecoastalpath.co.uk).  The walk will finish at the Edinburgh Maggie's Centre at 4 pm on Sunday 12th August.  During the walk a visit will be made to the spectacular new Maggie's Centre in Kirkcaldy.

Further details of the walk can be found on www.bobswalk.co.uk .

Anyone wishing to join in with all or part of the walk should contact Bob on BOBDOC@grant46.fsnet.co.uk or phone (01592) 610396.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
