Parachute Regiment - Paras' 10 - The Ultimate Endurance Run · 12 September 2010
Six slightly mad members of the Cheshire Constabulary completed the Parachute Regiment's "Paras' 10 - the Ultimate 10 Mile Endurance Race" on Sunday 12th September to raise money for two extremely worthwhile organisations who help and support military and police personnel - Help for Heroes and The North West Police Benevolent Fund.
We have set up this website to allow people to donate after the event. So far we have raised £500 and any donation you give through this website will support Help for Heroes.
To compete in the race we wore boots and carried a rucksack weighing 35 pounds (equal to 16 bags of sugar). The race itself was over ten miles of tracks, hills and water crossings and it really was an unbelivable endurance but everyone sucessfully completed it - we have the medals and t-shirts to prove it!
Any donation you give will really help. Please dig deep and donate now.
