St Luke’s is an independent charity caring for terminally ill adults and their loved ones across Sheffield. Each year, we care for around 1,900 patients most of whom are cared for in their own home by our Specialist Palliative Care Community team.

Why St. Luke's?

The Sheffield St. Luke's Hospice took wonderful care of my late partner Joolz McLay during her final months here with us all.

The dignity, compassion and comfort the brought to her, both at the hospice and at home, made a great difference to her quality of life, greatly strengthened her belief in the fundamental kindness of the human spirit and the belief that her work and the people it touched would continue to help and heal long after she had left this world for new shores.

Many people are completely unaware of the wide ranging services that 'Lukies' provide for patients and family alike, and of the true nature of the compassionate care they provide. They truly are a wonderful organization.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
